Summary:

The main responsibility of this position is to provide business owners including Executive Management, Product Management, Operations and Consulting support with financial modeling, analysis, and reporting. The secondary responsibility is to help ensure information from the financial planning software is consistent and accurate. Additional responsibilities include assisting business owners in creating and maintaining business metrics, modeling revenue and expense to ensure the company financials are aligned, participation in revenue and expense budgeting and forecasting, as well as assisting in the administration of the company's forecasting and budgeting tool. This position also requires the ability to identify business opportunities/risks. The successful candidate will work with many organizations within the company in addition to many levels of management.

Position Details:

Essential Job Functions:

• Work with business owners to create, maintain and update financial metrics and confirm trending and fixed allocation rates. Requires a collaborative and team-orientated attitude working with Finance, Accounting, Product Management, R&D, and Operations with demonstrated ability to work with various systems to compile data with high levels of accuracy.
• Provide financial business support, including financial modeling, reporting, analysis, and research. Identify allocation variabilities and follow-up on product exp/rev variances.
• Work with business owners/finance to update and prepare expense forecasts and budget, ensuring revenue and expense are aligned, including allocation maintenance for Products and SSU's.
• Perform required tasks for TM1 Enterprise Planning Application in order to ensure information is consistent and accurately represented for use by Finance and Accounting teams as well as business owners.
• Take user/system generated data and reports and be able to convert into the CBU volumes used for CBU reporting. This responsibility will continue to expand, including eventually working on CBU calculations and reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3+ years of financial reporting and analysis experience.
• Previous financial planning system/software experience required.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel (Pivot tables, advanced functions, VLOOKUP etc.)
• Ability to interpret financial concepts for financial planning and control.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Strong prioritization, organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• 3+ years' experience desired with CPA/CFA certification a plus, preferably 5+ years
• Oracle Financials and industry standard budget and forecast applications (TM1/Cognos experiences a plus).

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in business is required with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred.
