RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Financial Analyst in High Point, NC.Summary:This position is a key business partner for TBB's Operations and Executive Management teams, focused on providing the insight needed to drive sound business decisions related to production costs, capacity planning and investment for the manufacturing of school buses.Job Responsibilities:

• Support Operations Management by providing timely transparency to financial and operational performance
• Analyze and report on impact of strategic opportunities and business decisions
• Analyze and report on operational metrics and variances with a focus on actuals vs budget and forecast
• Support month-end close process by ensuring operational spend is recorded accurately and timely
• Drive financial planning for production costs; Lead budgeting process for Operations team, including training and support of Operations managers in the budgeting process
• Develop and maintain labor, variable overhead and material overhead (MOH) rates
• Support and validate cost savings and ROI calculations for operations related to continuous improvement projects and capital investments
• Other ad hoc analysis and reporting requests

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required; An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred
• 5-7 years financial and/or accounting experience required
• Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking
• Ability to work independently and manage one's time
• Prior management reporting experience required, plant controlling experience preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required; SAP FI/CO experience highly preferred; Knowledge of reporting tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Tagetik is preferred
