RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Financial Accounting and Reporting Manager in Tampa, FL.Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the CFO and Assistant Controller on corporate financial matters
  • Direct and coordinate the work of in-house accounting personnel, as well as outside accountants and bookkeepers in the U.S. and in other countries
  • Review and approve corporate bill pay and GL coding for all companies (U.S. and non-U.S.)
  • Facilitate timely monthly and year end closing procedures according to the closing schedule; Review and approve all account reconciliations and design procedures to ensure financial transactions are recorded appropriately
  • Review and approve internally generated consolidation and externally prepared consolidated GAAP financial statements; Lead coordination of consolidation procedures with outside accountants, prepare support for and review annual consolidated financial statements prepared by outside accountants
  • Lead corporate fixed asset tracking and accounting
  • Continue prior efforts to monitor and analyze processes and procedures to assist in developing more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Lead the coordination of all internal and external quarterly and annual financial reporting
  • Assist the CFO with treasury activities and global cash management
  • Provide training to new and existing staff, as needed
  • Work closely with Corporate Assistant Controller - Financial Systems and Analysis on matters such as budgeting, internal financial reporting and analyses, U.S. and non-U.S. tax returns, transfer pricing studies, and coordination with outside accountants
  • Continue prior efforts to improve and implement accounting best practices


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or Business Management with an emphasis in accounting required
  • CPA designation required, with a minimum 7 years of relevant experience with progressive responsibility
  • Experience preferably in both public accounting auditing private companies and in private accounting
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and technical pronouncements
  • Familiarity with corporate income tax and international tax is desired but not required
  • High degree of familiarity with using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), and familiarity with Microsoft NVA (Business Central) accounting applications preferred
  • Possess the technical skills to aggregate, translate and report financial information and to develop meaningful, effective, and consistent financial reporting processes, and reports across all entities
  • Team player and supportive colleague with strong interpersonal skills and proven leadership capabilities
  • Strong professional communication and writing skills and have or be willing to learn cross-cultural awareness
  • Must be fluent in spoken and written Spanish and English
  • Comfortable with change and be a confident, communicative problem solver
  • Have integrity, a clear understanding of individual and collective confidentiality, be approachable, respectful and instill confidence and trust in their ability to handle complex and sensitive financial information both internally and externally
  • Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and time manage workload and demonstrate flexibility with managing multiple priorities ensuring all deadlines are met


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
