Overview:

Join our team as an Anaplan Model Builder and be the point person for building out the ever-expanding Anaplan ecosystem at Alteryx! You will have the opportunity to partner with multiple business functions in and outside of Finance to champion complex planning and forecasting solutions. You will define and implement Anaplan best practices for data integration, model development, and reporting. Financial Analysts/Business Systems Analysts with experience using other financial planning tools, and who have a desire to learn Anaplan may be considered. Additionally, this role may be fully remote.

Responsibilities:

• Build robust and sophisticated financial models in Anaplan that support FP&A activity
  
• Maintain and continuously improve upon models and processes in order to support FP&A as business needs evolve
  
• Identify opportunities for automation and implement driver-based planning and forecasting
  
• Own and manage Anaplan user access and security assignments
  
• Facilitate change management for models as they are rolled out to new user groups
  
• Curate the development of Anaplan datahub, finance datasets, and analytics best practices
  
• Develop and coach fellow Anaplan model builders to leverage the latest new Anaplan features
  
• Work cross-functionally to develop streamlined business processes
  

Technical Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2+ years of Anaplan experience or similar financial planning tools
  
• Familiarity with Anaplan Datahub best practices and implementation principles
  
• Experience with Anaplan dashboarding/reporting features
  
• Proficiency with Anaplan ALM best practices and working across multiple workspaces/models
  
• Experience building complex Anaplan models and working with complex LOOKUP and SUM formulas
  
• Understanding of Anaplan model performance best practices
  

Soft Skills:

• Strong Root-cause Analysis skills with the ability to understand and articulate downstream impacts to model changes, as well as triage and recommend solutions for bugs and issues
  
• Prioritize maintaining good data hygiene and automating processes
  
• Experience working on a development team and coordinating feature releases
  
• Good communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner to a non-technical audience
  
• Willingness to learn!
  

Bonus:

• Familiarity administering financial planning systems
  
• Experience with Alteryx, Tableau, Snowflake or other SQL Databases
  
• Knowledge of one or more programming languages
  
• Strong understanding of fundamental Finance/Accounting concepts
  
• Previous experience as an Anaplan Tenant Admin
  
• Understanding of Anaplan API
  
• Prioritizes the user-experience
  
• Familiarity with Anaplan New UX reporting
  

Alteryx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Broomfield, CO is $68,200 to $112,500. This position is also remote-friendly and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.

This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus and stock grants.
