SUMMARY
Classifies, stores, retrieves, and updates information generated in Imports and Export by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITIES:include the following, but not limited to:
- Audits the airway bills, Un-staples all documents, organizes the documentation, scan the documents into air vault, re-staple, and sorts according to the filing system.
- File and Stores documents accordingly
- Maintains storage process and area up to date with archive per policy.
- Files are to be maintains per regulatory government agency for a period of 5 years. File Clerk coordinates the year and files that need to be disposes
- Attaches loose documents to proper airway bill file
- Builds storage boxes for storage and make room in the filing cabinet for current documents
- Retrieves materials for qualified personnel upon request, uploads into Air vault system.
- Follows up on all email requests in a timely manner.
- Searches for and investigates information contained in the files, inserts additional data file records, completes report, and keeps files current.
- Several times a year works diligently with the accounting department on critical request when auditors are in headquarters.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION and/or CERTIFICATION:- Must have a high school diploma or equivalency
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:- Microsoft Office and MS Teams, basic document retention knowledge.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:- Minimum 1 years of customer service background or related experience.
SKILLS and/or ABILITIES:
- Must have good attention to detail, this includes continuously monitoring shipments from the point of receipt to delivery
- Ability to climb stairs, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Professional etiquette in person, over the phone, and in written communication
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Be able to effectively work in a team environment
