As the Field Marketing Specialist, you will be the New Holland Cash Crop products and marketplace expert for the assigned area. As the expert you will be primary in-field trainer for the assigned products as well as identifying market conditions and trends (including the advancement of Precision Technology and competitor strategies) and developing marketing and training materials in conjunction with the product marketing manager.

Responsibilities

  • Be the primary cash crop equipment product and marketplace expert for the assigned area.
  • Work with the dealer network to drive sales of cash crop products as the primary in-field trainer providing training for dealer sales staff and participating in on site customer visits, customer demonstrations and clinics.
  • Drive improving dealer capabilities with precision technologies as a technical resource and product expert that provides hands on experience through demonstrations.
  • Assist in regional marketing and training material development working with brand marketing managers, shared services and the field sales team.
  • Provide voice of customer/voice of dealer feedback to the Brand (Product marketing group) to guide product development and marketing actions.
  • Analyze and communicate regional trends pertaining to brand performance, competition and marketplace.
  • Implement dealer marketing strategies in coordination with the Regional sales staff that increase sales and market share for construction equipment in assigned Region.
  • Support field sales and dealers with competitive conquest opportunities and track opportunities within the New Holland Customer Relationship Management (CRM) process to deliver sales.
  • Activate annual marketing plans within your Region to achieve the key quantitative objectives - Market Share & Revenue.
  • Support the distribution strategy in coordination with the Regional Dealer Development organization.
  • Support regional and national trade shows and training as necessary.
  • Manage a fleet of company inventory units used for demonstration and training purposes.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field (preferred Business/Marketing or Agriculture)
  • 2+ years' experience in heavy equipment or agricultural industry

The preferred candidate will have:
  • Strong familiarity with dealer management and dealer networks
  • Strong technical knowledge of product line supported
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Competency of Microsoft Office based programing (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
