Job Description

This position is responsible for receiving orders, recording material, scheduling feed delivery, and dispatching trucks while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

2nd Shift position Monday through Friday 3:00 p.m to 11:00 p.m.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Ability to read and write, in order to receive and document orders.

2. Ability to schedule loads of feed by creating and organizing feed tickets and maintaining them for record keeping.

3. Ability to dispatch loads of feed and distribute them evenly among driver/team members within DOT rules and regulations.

4. Ability to answer calls from Service Techs and Growers while maintaining a good working relationship with them.

5. Ability to organize/flex task and change priorities throughout the shift.

6. Ability to take Feed bin inventory.

7. Ability to operate loading equipment to correctly load trucks based on load schedules and prioritize daily feed orders in regards to: OUTS, SERVICE ORDERS, FOD, and PLACEMENT ORDERS.

8. Able to work in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments. Heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather.

9. Ability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required based on demand scheduling.

10. Ability to work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures.

12. Able to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity Guidelines including an agreement to avoid any avian species. Maintain good housekeeping including service areas.

13. Communicate to all levels of Operations including Customers and Vendors both orally and in writing where required.

14. Follow and Operate within all Tyson Safety protocols.

15. Able to Lift up to 50 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs. with assistance.

16. Stand, Sit, Walk, Climb Ladder/Stairs with the ability to sustain physical activity throughout the day.

17. Complete all other tasks assigned by management.

Requirements:

Education: High school degree or equivalent preferred.

Must not own, possess, or otherwise maintain any domestic, wild, or exotic fowl to be considered.

Animal Welfare background check is required.

Must have a valid state driver's license and a clean motor record.

Only applicants who reside in Carroll, Boone, Madison, Newton and Searcy County in Arkansas and Stone County in Missouri, within a 50-mile radius of the feed mill are eligible to apply.

Will not consider applicants who have worked for Tyson Foods 3X or more.

Experience: Clerical experience and/or feed mill experience preferred, Knowledge of DOT trucking procedures preferred.
