Job Summary
As the Facilites Manager, you will be responsible for performing inventory and/or facility-related duties, and Inventory Control functions as assigned.
Job Description

We are looking for a Facilities Manager to perform inventory and/or facility-related duties.This position will be full-time and on-site.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in obtaining information for various State Reports
  • Collaborate with Controller and staff to tag furniture and equipment
  • Tag, record, and track fixed assets and complete inventory
  • Provide County Tags to Service Providers when needed
  • Contact Service Providers, contract monitors, County Controller's office, and staff regarding fixed asset related issues
  • Maintain equipment in the Screen Room by funding code
  • Manage equipment and update Deputy Directors, Facility-Fixed Asset Staff, and IT Technicians on equipment
  • Retrieve furniture and equipment from Service Providers when contract expires
  • Collaborate with the County Recycling Vendor to pick up broken and unrepairable equipment
  • Provide Monthly Report information to Administrative Officer 3
  • Create service provider files
  • Prepare proper paperwork on fixed assets for property and supplies including disposal and transfer of items
  • Oversee and update the opening and closing of pending files for the service providers
  • Update fixed asset reconciliation report for the County Purchasing Department and Controller's office
  • Manage equipment deliveries and crosscheck packing slip against P.O.
  • Train Fixed Asset Inventory Control Clerk on all aspects of fixed assets.
  • Assist County Clerks as needed

What You'll Need

Required:

  • Possess Act 33 and 34 Clearances
  • Have a valid Pennsylvania motor vehicle.
  • Experience managing equipment
  • Experience preparing and filing paperwork

Preferred:
  • Completion of high school
  • Ability to team lift at least 65 pounds.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
