Major Responsibilities:

1. Feed and operate welding systems. Make running adjustments as needed.
2. Perform all duties associated with hand welding and weld repairs.
3. Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment as scheduled. Perform machine-to-machine material handling as necessary within the cell.
4. Conduct required quality checks using basic measuring equipment. Accurately report daily activities on work orders and KanBan cards and other media as required.
5. Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited school
• Must pass the Hendrickson weld test - 2G
• Must be able to read and write legibly
• Must be able to meet production standards and follow instructions
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints with geometric tolerance
• Must achieve a minimum percentile score of 33 on the DAT test
• Must be able to physically lift 65 lbs.
• Must pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug free throughout the term of employment
