Event Security - Giants Ridge

Giants Ridge, managed by Guest Services, is looking for diligent and focused individuals that take pride in maintaining the safety and security of the people who are entrusting their experience to us. JOB SUMMARY

Maintain safe and secure facilities and grounds for the protection of guests and employees according to the company policies and procedures in adherence to state and federal regulations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Routinely perform patrols throughout Giants Ridge reporting unsafe conditions, and security issues.
• Respond to all emergency and security operations at Giants Ridge and work with appropriate law enforcement agencies as directed.
• Conduct investigations concerning thefts, suspicious incidents, fraudulent pass use, and prepares incident reports as required.
• Become familiar with the amenities of Giants Ridge to assist guests with questions and directions
• Maintain awareness of resort-wide safety concerns, and report them immediately to the manager.
• Monitor and ensure guests adhere to resort policies and safety standards.

SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. required.
• Valid driver's license.
• First Aid/CPR preferred.

Physical and Mental Requirements

• Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the unit.
• Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.
• Lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 25 lbs. regularly, 30-35 lbs. frequently, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to stand for the entire work day.
• Withstanding temperature extremes and inclement outdoor weather.
• Physical presence at the job site is essential to perform job duties.
