ERP Technical Lead - Job Description

Job Summary

Fortna is looking for an ERP Technical Lead who will be responsible for leading and managing a team of ERP professionals responsible for the implementation, support, and maintenance of the company's ERP system. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for driving and influencing technical design decisions, and will also build relationships with business process owners, stakeholders, and the IT team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ERP implementation and be comfortable leading projects from ideation to implementation, from small enhancements to full-scale business process implementations.

As a member of the IT team, the candidate will work closely with colleagues in a collaborative and team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead in developing architectural design and functional specifications
  • Manage and provide direction for the application team in support of business operations
  • Support and maintain existing customizations, applications and integrations by collecting, analyzing, and correcting issues as reported by the business
  • Develop new customizations, enhancements and integrations within the Infor LN ERP system
  • Assist in agile software development management activities during iterative sprints
  • Support, conduct and coordinate unit and functional tests for minor and major deployments
  • Assist user and operations areas in implementing and supporting systems including system installation, training and troubleshooting
  • Providing technical advice and support to users. This includes creating ad-hoc reports, data analysis and correction, training and problem solving
  • Developing code and functional user documentation
  • Be result oriented and adhere to project deadlines and objectives

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Business, Information Systems, or related field
  • 5+ years of in-depth, foundational experience with ERP platforms, preferably Infor LN with a focus on manufacturing, warehousing, and inventory management
  • 3+ years of Infor LN experience, knowledge of ION platform and integrations with other platforms
  • Prior IT implementation responsibility of ERP projects
  • Skilled in database design, SQL scripting and ERP administration techniques
  • Strong analytical core and attention to detail are expected
  • Excellent understanding of end-to-end business processes in a manufacturing and project-oriented business
  • Proven experience of utilizing current project management methodologies
  • Ability to effectively work and communicate with all levels of the organization

The base salary range for this role is $112,500 to $168,800. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
