Summary

The Equipment Quality Coordinator will be responsible for delivering RVS's value to the customer. This individual will be primarily responsible for pre-inspecting vehicles before the customer takes delivery. S/he will also be taking scheduled vehicles for test rides as part of our scheduled RVS exercise program.

Essential Functions

  • Exercises used vehicles on Ryder property to assure vehicles are road ready: Check for leaks, visual inspections, and check for minor mechanical malfunctions
  • Makes recommendations and complete minor repairs and adjustments on Ryder's Used Vehicles
  • Records findings and data in variety of Ryder's systems, and report them to Vehicle Sales Manager

  • Ability to work flexible hours including shift work, weekends, holidays and possibly in different locations

Qualifications

  • H.S. diploma/GED required
  • One (1) year or more mechanical and/or customer service required
  • Two (2) years or more demonstrated mechanical experience/aptitude preferred
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and the ability to meet Ryder's driving qualifications
