About The Role:

Typically entry level candidates enter our company in our inside sales, Technical Recruiter role referred to as a Staffing Consultant where they have the opportunity to learn the business and earn the opportunity to transition into outside sales which is the Account Executive position. The ideal candidate for either role is someone who is competitive, driven, creative, focused, a quick learner, hardworking, team oriented and successful at building relationships with potential job seekers, clients and internal colleagues. The ideal candidate is dedicated to exceeding expectations of candidates, clients and their management team. The Inside Sales/Staffing Consultant is effective at gathering information from candidates and relating it to the needs of Beacon Hill clients. This individual is a self-motivated and possesses a coachable personality. The Inside Sales/Staffing Consultant is the primary interface with all potential job seekers/candidates within the Fort Lauderdale market and works to build strong, sincere relationships using a reverse recruiting methodology in the achievement of expected business results.

Responsibilities include:

  • Interview potential candidates both over the phone and in person to evaluate professional experience, personality, and strengths comparing with client's job requirements
  • Learn and master recruiting strategies and techniques created to identify qualified candidates through various recruiting mediums
  • Negotiate hourly rate and salaries as well as other requirements that candidates have, and obtain commitment from candidates for current and future job requirements
  • Complete necessary employment screenings including reference checks, background, drug and credit checks
  • Manage consultants while on active assignment. Assess and investigate consultant or client related problems administering performance reviews, coaching, and disciplinary measures when needed
  • Work with Account Managers to identify target accounts within the local market through lead generation
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with internal team members
  • Focus on learning, mastering and sharing recruiting "best practices"
  • Document detailed information and conversations with all candidates and active consultants within Beacon Hill CRM and follow company specific processes and communication standards

Requirements for the Inside Sales/Staffing Consultant Role:

  • Coachable attitude
  • Self-driven/motivated
  • Able to learn new information quickly
  • Be available to work before/after typical office hours as work may demand
  • Drive to be the best, goal oriented and a competitive spirit
  • Possess strong written and oral English communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook
  • Professional demeanor and presentation skills
  • Have a willingness and desire to work within a fast paced sales environment
  • Must be capable of consistently using good judgment and discretion
