Position Summary:

The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to translate business drivers and needs on Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security (EMS) solutions technology and Intune Management as part of Microsoft Endpoint Management solution.

This include defining and setting the strategy, policy, standards, and procedures for, as well as maintaining high service operative standard for the CMA CGM Group.

The role will be part of the Workplace team and the duties will include providing technological advice on new/evolving systems, testing and supporting deployment activities and managing work packages that require within Workplace engineering domain in support of follow-the-sun support framework, reporting to the Intune Mobility & Workplace, Service Manager.

The role demands expert integration, diagnostic and fault-finding knowledge/skills and a broad range of IT knowledge/experience in end-user computing and modern device mobility configuration and governance.

The candidate must be able to take the lead on a global IT support topic involving various stakeholders globally. An individual to be able to have a global strategy, deliver global objectives and critical follow the sun support for all Workplace topics.

This position will be responsible to:

  • A subject matter expert on Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Secruity (EMS) and Intune Management as part of Microsoft Endpoint Management solution
  • The individual will be accountable and responsible of the device deployment on his area/region which include governance and report.
    Establish and maintain the strategy, policy, standards, and procedures for end user technology to meet customer and business requirements. Ensure processes & best practices are appropriately implemented and managed within the team.
  • Ensure that operational procedures and processes are developed, implemented, and maintained in line with Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements
  • Experience in the administration other Microsoft core Infrastructure technologies: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, LDAP, Kerberos, and SCCM and Co-Management, Modern Workplace Management, M365 and Azure AD Management.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Active Directory, Azure Active Directory design and administration. This includes GPOs, federation, and upgrade plans
  • Experience in the administration of Microsoft Client and Server Operating System technologies: Windows 10, iOS, and Windows Servers
  • Experience in the managing endpoint devices e.g., Android, Apple, other future device OS advancement
  • Experience in operational compliance with all security policies and procedures by ensuring security measures, monitoring, and reporting are in place and adhered to for end user technologies and applications.
  • Assist and lead in the troubleshooting, from endpoint device and across other IT domain such as infrastructure and application domains
  • Partner with other business units to identify, recommend, and implement solutions related to Microsoft Endpoint Management solution.
  • Ensure incidents are responded to and resolved in accordance with customer Service Levels Agreements and service requirements wherever possible. Act as an escalation point for Microsoft Endpoint Management systems issues.
  • Responsible for the procurement procedures for end user devices, applications, and support services.
  • Plan and manage end user technology and systems upgrades.
  • Work with project managers and others to ensure new deployments are smoothly transitioned into service.
  • Investigate and manage problems with end user computing services, software, systems, and communications technologies.
  • Organize and supervise third party contractors and supplier engineers as required.
  • Ensure that service requests, and maintenance work packages and tasks are carried out to ensure the reliability of IT services to end users.
  • Provide specialist knowledge and guidance on the technical aspects of systems and services, and act as local expert and reference point. This includes advising on new/evolving systems and technologies that would benefit the business and customer base.
  • Provide advice and training to team members. Manage and supervise their work when necessary.
  • Lead and engage teams to champion a customer-focused approach and the delivery of high-quality products that respond to customer needs and delight business customers.
  • Embed commercial and business-like principles throughout the organization, which ensures delivery of products in the most efficient and effective way.
  • Contribute to the future business of the company through generating ideas for new or more efficient ways of working in response to business requirements and self-generated insights.
  • Miscellaneous related duties or Projects as assigned.

Skill Sets / Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience required.
  • 5 or more-years subject matter expert on Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security (EMS) and Intune Management as part of Microsoft Endpoint Management solutio
  • 5 years of IT service management or implementation experience, including management of distributed, multi-country, 24x7 infrastructure and budget responsibilit
  • Experience in administration of Microsoft Core Infrastructure technologies: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, LDAP, Kerberos, and SCCM and Co-Management, EMS & Intune Management, M365 Product
  • Broad experience across computing and networking environment
  • Experience with vendor management
  • Experience with global or large desktop support environmen
  • Experienced in desktop support and engineering role in a standardized operating environmen
  • Experience with software distribution framework global or large user environmen
  • Managing Desktop lifecycle hardware & software on a large or global scal
  • Proficient knowledge of ITIL and ITS
  • Strong analytical skills, good communication and interpersonal skill, leadership skills with ability to work without much supervision, under tight timelines and pressure
