Description: The Judge Group has partnered with a manufacturing client in the Greater Centralia Area to find an Engineering Manager for their team. This is the perfect opportunity to step into a promotional role, get a multitude of experience, and accelerate your career.

If you are a plant engineer looking for the next step up and you have project management experience, this is the perfect fit for you! The client would be able to assist in relocation.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Manage the capital plan and budget and communicating these plans with all plant and corporate teams.
• Manage all projects within the plant, handling multiple projects at one time ranging in size
• Collaboration with timelines, adjustments, future projects, and arising issues with plant teams such as production, quality, maintenance, finance, and hr
• Maintain healthy external relationships with vendors, construction contractors, and government agencies
• Must the the subject matter expert on all projects, of all sizes
• Be a key member of the process improvement pillar pertaining to engineering teams
• Manage one direct report on all areas of performance and development
• Attend daily, weekly, monthly report out meetings of statuses of projects and any adjustments to the original timeline and deadlines
• Constantly looking at market trends, competitors, and new equipment in the industry to look for ways to improve current processes

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree
• Engineering Experience in manufacturing industries: Food, plastics, packaging, metals, automotive, pharma, or chemical
• Project Engineering or Capital Project experience
