Description: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Contract Medical Device Manufacturing Engineer to join our team on a 6-12 month contract basis, with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time role based on performance and business needs. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for supporting the development, optimization, and scaling of manufacturing processes for medical devices. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our organization while gaining valuable experience in the medical device industry.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for medical devices, focusing on efficiency, quality, and scalability.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Support quality assurance efforts by assisting in the implementation and maintenance of quality control measures and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in the investigation and resolution of quality issues, conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Assist in the evaluation, selection, and procurement of manufacturing equipment and tooling, ensuring alignment with product specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical support for equipment setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of manufacturing processes, equipment specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for internal review, regulatory submissions, and audits.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in medical device manufacturing, engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality management systems, and regulatory requirements for medical devices.
