Description: Our client is currently seeking a Energy Systems Engineer!

This an FTE/Salaried position, capable of being based out of any location in the US.

The role will require heavy travel, in excess of 90% travel to various client locations.

Energy System Engineer

Summary:

Our client is seeking a motivated, responsible, and passionate individual to implement their Energy Management System, including the development of energy models.

The ideal candidate will possess a background in industrial process engineering.

Responsibilities:

1. Interact with clients and perform analysis to understand its process historian, database, & data.

2. Analyze existing data in the client system(s) and identify applicable data points for both energy management and process control.

3. Export historical readings from various databases leveraging SQL queries.

4. Provide technical support to the MPC Information Technology Group to configure export and import client data.

5. Configure plant hierarchy, tags, ratios, KPIs, balances, dashboards, invoices, alerts, and auto reports in the Energy Management System.

6. Analyze plant energy balance and identify major energy consumers.

7. Develop energy models based on the last three years daily process information.

8. Deliver client onsite training in the use of Energy Management System and provide first level support for clients while on-site.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering: industrial engineering/ chemical engineering/ process engineering/ electrical engineering/ mechanical engineering/ system engineering.

2. Proficient with MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint.

3. Knowledge of statistics, for example, correlation, linear regression, standard deviation.......

4. Familiar with industrial process control historians, for example, OSI Pi, Aspen, Wonderware, GE Proficy...

5. Ability to perform simple SQL query
