Local Unit & Position Description

DNV - Energy Systems Program Development & Implementation group is seeking a Energy Efficiency - Project Manager to join our Pilot's team, to develop ideas through business case and program launch plans for transforming industry solution and manage the day-to-day operations of a program directed at providing energy efficiency education and market transformation to utility customers and contractors.

This position will report to our Okemos, MI office. Other locations may be considered.Tasks May Include

  • Research analytics on Market trends, customer trends, underserved segments, new products and provide recommendations to management team for funding and further piloting
  • Working closely with utility client personnel, EWR Incubation
  • Manager, to collect, generate, evaluate, and prototype ideas for business Energy Efficiency products
  • Familiarity with product innovation cycles, and working within a stage-gated process
  • Prioritize ideas and manage stakeholder demands to develop viable and attractive products
  • Conduct or coordinate customer feedback instruments to evaluate incubated ideas on short cycle
  • Analyze growth opportunities of emerging energy waste reduction technologies
  • Research existing industry knowledge and develop case studies and recommendations to fill industry gaps or serve underperforming customer segments.
  • Complete technical and financial analyses, including developing business case
  • Facilitate product development workshops / lean canvases
  • Ability to collaborate remotely with large, diverse teams
  • Coordinate, schedule and conduct presentations/trainings to a variety of stakeholders including utility clients, customers, community organizations, trade allies on energy efficient technologies and program incentives
  • Ability to work independently and use sound judgment under fast-paced scenarios
  • Facilitate additional ideation development with diverse resources
Position Qualifications

Requirements
  • Associate's Degree required. Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or a related field required
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with customers, clients and colleagues
  • Technical knowledge of energy efficiency industry
  • Solid problem-solving capabilities
  • Creativity and attention to detail
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Projects)
  • Proficient with IOS and Android device and apps operations
  • Budget and data management experience
  • Experience delivering presentations or other public forums
  • Must be able to prioritize and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Team player with positive attitude and ability to work effectively with different teams
  • Willingness and ability to travel, up to 25% of the time
  • Must be able to meet the requirements to drive for company business
  • We conduct pre-employment drug and background screening
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with energy efficiency or energy efficient products desired
  • Business analyst experience is a plus (Microsoft Insights)
  • Sales experience is a plus
