What You Will Be Doing * Develop architectures for functions like power conversion, signal processing, embedded systems and special function designs related to battery management.

* Design and develop BMS hardware and software solutions that meet product requirements.

* Develop testing procedures and test plans for BMS systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with regulatory requirements.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate BMS systems into products.

* Work with suppliers to select and procure BMS components.

* Conduct research to identify new BMS technologies and techniques that could improve product performance.

* Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure the BMS systems are efficiently produced and meet quality standards.

* Ensure the safe and efficient operation of battery systems throughout their lifecycle.

* Develop and implement maintenance and monitoring protocols for battery systems.

* Troubleshoot and resolve BMS-related issues that arise during product development, testing, and production.

What You Need for this Position * BS, MS, or PhD in a relevant field (Electrical/Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, etc.)

* 3+ years experience in electronics, electrical systems design, controls, or similar

* Experience in design of BMS architecture

* General knowledge of benchtop testing/debugging with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers / other test equipment, soldering, PCB design, etc.

* Experience with board design, layout, fab, and bring-up

* Experience with common serial/bus communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UARTs, CAN, etc.

Nice to have:

* Experience in the Electric Vehicle industry

* Experience with wireless cell monitoring, chip-on-cell technology, or State of Charge/State of Health monitoring solutions
