Job Responsibilities

Pennoni is currently looking for an electrical designer to support our MEP group with experience consistent to but not limited to:

• Preparing electrical plans, including power and light circuiting using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Sizing equipment including scaling and placing equipment with proper clearance requirements on drawings.
• Developing lighting plans, including selection of lights, and placement to meet photometry requirements.
• Running COMcheck energy models.
• Calculating loads and short circuit values.
• Supporting client site visits and surveys.
• Documenting survey data and writing reports.
• Preparing Fire Alarm design drawings.

• Education including 12 total credit hours in any of the following courses or similar:

  • Blueprint reading
  • NEC Code
  • Residential wiring
  • Commercial power systems
  • Electrical modeling
  • Electrical grounding
  • Relay protection
  • Control systems
