Position Overview

Novelis has an immediate opening for an Education & Training Coordinator/Specialist. This position reports to the Talent Lead.

This position is responsible for managing and coordinating trainings related to man & method loses, for all employees at respective value stream operations in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support and execution of NNA Learning processes to drive employee development
• Responsible for regional education & training priorities for operations in their respective operational plan cluster.
• Assist with and guide the launch of plant E&T pillars and subsequent support post launch
• Support Regional E&T Steering Committee through tracking KPIs, train the trainer program, and various committee projects
• Learning Management System Administration and process improvement

Responsibilities & Qualifications
Qualifications

• Associate of Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1-2 years of meaningful experience industry experience
• Flexible response to evolving project needs and ability to thrive in a team environment.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
• Detail focused, self-starter who is assertive, disciplined and flexible
• Ability to positively lead change in response to shifting demands, as well as multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Location Profile

Opened in 1985 the Uhrichsville facility produces flat rolled aluminum sheet. The rolling mill cold rolls aluminum sheet to a desired gauge anneals to temper levels and slits the rolled sheet to size. Employing more than 350 people the facility produces aluminum sheet for building and construction automotive distribution transportation and consumer durable applications.
