Salary: $140,000.00 USD Annually - $150,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our client, a top food manufacturer that will be doubling in size in the next 5 years, is currently seeking an E-Commerce Account Manager. Position can be based out of Northern VA offices or remote with travel in 1x/month. Note: while this is a Manager level, it is very robust in responsibilities and needs a polished professional who is comfortable making presentations to the C-level and can work cross-functionally with many disciplines in the company.

The Ecommerce Account Manager will be responsible for achieving sales objectives consistent with corporate volume and profit targets in the ecommerce channel. This role will plan and execute against volume, pricing, merchandising, trade spending, and digital activation objectives. This role will be the direct link to strategic ecommerce accounts and is responsible to act as an advocate to ensure successful execution of the ecommerce objectives.

•Account Management - Manage the ecommerce P&L to meet operating income, volume, merchandising, assortment, pricing and digital activation goals.

•Sales execution - Act as the direct point of contact with strategic ecommerce customers to achieve volume objectives and sales and marketing priorities.

•Strategic Planning - Identify appropriate strategies and KPIs to drive transformative growth for selling full product portfolio in both pure play ecommerce and omnichannel environments. Identify new channel opportunities based on current market trends.

•Customer Development - The Ecommerce Account Manager should penetrate strategic ecommerce accounts to develop the franchise by focusing on adding value and facilitating the execution of strategic initiatives (such as, Category Management, Item Optimization/Content, Digital Activation, Operations & Logistics and other efficiency initiatives) to achieve an on-going competitive advantage.

•Trade/Marketing Spending - Manage all aspects of trade and marketing spend to ensure funds are effectively utilized in a consistent manner with Brand strategies to achieve merchandising objectives. Monitor post-promotional analysis on a customer basis to assess the impact and make appropriate adjustments to refine and improve results. Evaluate media mix, engage in ROI analysis, and report using quantitative metrics.

•Agency Management and Evaluation - The Ecommerce Account Manager is responsible to manage external agencies in accordance with policies and procedures.

•Administration - Effectively manage administrative responsibilities including information requests, competitive intelligence, results tracking and analysis, expense reports, forecasts, deduction and invoice management, etc.

•Personnel Development - The Ecommerce Account Manager should work with their supervisor to assess personal development needs and develop the appropriate development/training plans to facilitate personal and professional growth.

•Develop more effective and efficient ways to manage the ecommerce channel.

•We are looking for an experienced ecommerce channel manager with experience with P&L management and digital marketing.

•3-5 years of overall professional experience in ecommerce management; CPG preferred

•Experience with Amazon Vendor Central experience required; Walmart experience + Retail Link knowledge preferred

•Experience in successfully working with outside agencies and vendors •Understanding of current e-commerce sales flows, logistics and customer experience

•Knowledge of digital marketing best practices and guidelines

•MBA is preferred. Bachelor's degree is required

•Strong analytical background with strong written and verbal communication, problem solving and negotiation skills

•Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external teams to drive sales and exceed revenue targets

•Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

•Demonstrated proficiency in supporting corporate interest from remote site locations and ability to communicate and exercise very positive people skills

•Ability to handle multiple priorities, tasks, and projects concurrently with the ability to pivot quickly in response to changes in direction or priorities
