Position Summary:

LifeMoves is looking for a motivated and results oriented Donor Associate tosupport the Individual Giving team in all aspects of fundraising -donor prospecting; volunteer engagement, meetings; cultivation events; background research, and donor acknowledgements. The Donor Associate will create processes, reports, analysis and tools that allow the Individual Giving Team to have a thorough understanding of their constituency, their prospects and their work. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes on challenges, and is committed to learning and growing. This position will report to the Director of Individual Giving.

Position Duties:

Donor Stewardship

  • Manage the process of reporting gift usage information from donors. May draft, edit, rewrite, and exercise judgement to determine appropriateness of content
  • Provide on-going portfolio analysis for campaigns, events, major gifts, legacy giving, and annual fund
  • Support the Individual Giving team to develop and recommend best methodologies to engage individual donors by analyzing past trends and researching donor profiles
Volunteer Projects and Outreach
  • Support initiatives to generate awareness and deepen relationships with our volunteer and community partners
  • Monitor volunteer satisfaction and help evolve the program to incorporate necessary improvements
  • Track and maintain volunteer communications, records and activities in Salesforce database and run regular reports of all volunteer activities
Special Projects
  • Assist with fundraising and gratitude events for donors and volunteers
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or combination of education and experience
  • Strong understanding of fundraising principles and models
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to quickly understand and remember details about donors and projects to which they are assigned.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Proven experience working independently without close supervision
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple deadlines
  • Excellent analytical and information management skills, including the ability to conduct research and manage information in multiple databases and systems
  • Experience with relationship or prospect management systems.
  • An understanding of ideas and practices that promote diversity, equity and inclusion; and a commitment to ongoing professional development in this area.
  • Availability to work up to 2-3 weekends per month as needed.
