The Distribution Account Representative is responsible for the planning, management and implementation of all activities required to manage existing and new Distributor partner relationships in the A/V space. In addition, this role is responsible for driving new reseller partner recruitment, collaborating with Channel Sales Rep on existing reseller partner development, identifying and closing new business. The Distribution Account Representative will participate in the execution of account plans to increase product exposure, gain partner mind share, grow profitable sales revenue, as well as identify new channels for growth. The Distribution Account Representative will act as the liaison between Distribution partners and Jabra internal cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in execution of strategic account plans with identified partners to achieve or exceed the company's target growth and margin requirements.
  • Achieve/exceed established target revenues, gross margin and other key performance indicators.
  • Develop high level strategic relationships with partner sales, marketing and merchandising functions
  • Collaborate with channel marketing functions to plan and execute product promotion, channel programs, partner engagement and training, lead and revenue generation activities
  • Coordinate engagement and planning with Strategic Alliance Partners, company and like partner resources
  • Develop high level strategic relationships with partner sales, marketing and merchandising functions
  • Participate in quarterly business reviews with partners to share performance metrics, communicate company strategy, identify new business opportunities, develop and implement go-forward plans
  • Participate in delivering product portfolio and sales training programs with identified accounts.
  • Deliver and implement product launch programs with specified channels.
  • Coordinate and support reseller recruitment and development activities with internal and partner sales teams.
  • Support the fulfillment process and ultimate close of customer opportunities with reseller partners where appropriate.
  • Be accountable for accurate and comprehensive sales planning and forecasting.
  • Establish strong relationships with customers and colleagues.

Preferred Education/Experience:
  • A minimum of 3 years of A/V sales experience selling to and managing distributors, resellers, value added resellers, etc.
  • Must have ability to build new business and meet or exceed sales quotas.
  • Experience with telecommunications/high tech products preferred.
  • Successful group presentation experience is essential.
  • Proficiency using customer contact software, Excel, PowerPoint and Word is required.
