Director, Business Development - Wellness

We're expanding our Wellness team, to help promote our well-being solutions.

Do you have experience selling wellbeing solutions? Are you interested in helping an organization develop and execute a wellbeing strategy? Do you enjoy problem-solving? Do you enjoy designing solutions to meet unique customer needs? Are you a collaborator who enjoys working with others?

The Director, Business Development - Wellness, an individual contributor role, is responsible for selling wellness and biometric solutions in an assigned territory to current and prospective clients. The Director, Business Development - Wellness will work closely with the VP, Specialty Sales and Chief Sales Officer to shape the company's go-to-market strategy which includes building relationships with key decision makers and the consultant community.

The ideal team member will have experience working with employer groups and national consultant firms and enjoy a dynamic, fast-paced workplace.

Responsibilities:

- Define an effective go-to-market strategy for the assigned region

- Develop a business plan to support the go-to-market strategy and to exceed revenue goals

- Develop and execute campaigns that target companies in assigned region

- Cultivate meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders

- Secure new business to meet company growth objectives

- Serve as a voice of the customer regarding Health Advocate solutions

- Act as a subject matter expert in relation to assigned specialty products and solutions

- Effective communicator that provides clear and actionable feedback

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants for this job will be expected to meet the following qualifications

Education

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with coursework in business administration, marketing, health promotion or a related field required

- Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements

Experience

- Minimum five (5) years increasingly responsible experience in sales or client-facing role.

- Demonstrated sales production at or above quota; or similar demonstration of performance excellence in previous roles.

*Minimum 3 years' experience selling wellness related products with a focus on selling required.

*Minimum 1 year's sales experience working with employee benefit or human resources department decision makers required

Other

Strong prospecting, selling and closing skills

Intermediate knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required
