CUMULUS MEDIA | Westwood One, New York has an immediate opening for a full time Director of Podcast Sponsorship Sales. This role is an integral part of the sales team. The ideal candidate will be an energetic and nimble salesperson with a passion for the rapidly growing Podcast industry, as well as a self-starter with a love of engaging audiences through great content.

Responsibilities:

• Achieving Podcast revenue goals for the Network
• Propose, create, develop podcast advertising campaigns for new or current major customers to increase podcast sales revenue
• Utilizing Westwood One's entire platform to develop and create compelling solution-oriented programs for our clients
• Attend staff meetings and conferences as directed
• Providing accurate and timely reporting on lead generation, account management, pipelines, and forecasting

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years Podcast sales experience with a demonstrable track record for strategic, consultative multi-platform selling
• Strong understanding of podcast advertising, digital advertising, marketing, promotion, and collection standards
• Proven ability to grow new business and find new revenue opportunities
• Deep understanding of podcast marketplace, customers, and competitors in order to target needs and drive sales
• An ability to exceed revenue and customer acquisition targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Confidence when pitching and closing business to senior-level executives and clients
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• To be a proven team player with the ability to work well with key members of other departments
• Sophistication to sell comprehensive multi-platform marketing solutions
• To be technologically savvy with a proficiency for sophisticated advertising programs and delivery methodologies
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment

• An expected salary in the range of $92,000 to $115,000 per year and an eligibility for performance-based bonuses
