Reports to: Director of Risk Management and Quality Improvement

Job Summary:

The Director of Quality Implementation supports and is responsible to the Director of Risk Management and Quality Improvement in facilitating implementation of the agency Quality Improvement plan. In conjunction with the Director of Risk Management and Quality Improvement, the Director of Quality Implementation ensures that systems are in place to gather mission critical information from all elements of the organization, and that the information is analyzed, and findings are communicated, all in ways that capture the essential mission and performance of agency departments and services. This process forms the basis for promotion of high quality practices and improvement activities as needed. The Director will provide support to service areas and other participants in developing policies and procedures; maintaining licensing, accreditation and other types of qualification; designing and implementing quality improvement projects; adherence to internal and external compliance standards and generate reports and other descriptive documents and presentations.

This is an exempt position.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

No supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Functions of Position:

• Participate in implementation of the agency quality improvement plan under the direction of the Director of Risk Management and Quality Improvement and in collaboration with key stakeholders
• Collaborate with service, administrative and information staff in development of systems to collect and analyze agency-wide performance data in all areas of organization functions and operations
• Participate in and/or support quality improvement projects in response to data analysis, events, trends, findings, etc.

• Analyze information regarding incidents, events, complaints, outcomes, etc. and produce results of analysis

• Develop as needed and oversee processes ensuring compliance with internal and external standards and expectations
• Collaborate with Information Services and other managers of information to identify key performance indicators, systems to assess performance in those areas and actions needed to maintain or improve performance
• Expertise in and utilization of QI tools, e.g. root cause analysis, to develop understandings of occurrences and targeted responses to outcomes

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in human services management or related field
• 5+ years senior leadership role in the appropriate field
• Proven ability to plan and manage operational process for maximum efficiency and productivity
• Ability to streamline and implement new structures and roles that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands
• Strong working knowledge of quality improvement principles and practices
• A COVID-19 vaccination is a requirement of the position. One COVID-19 shot is acceptable, contingent on the individual receiving the second shot within the allotted time frame
