CUMULUS MEDIA | Westwood One, the nation's leading broadcast network, has an open opportunity in our Network Operations Center based in Denver, CO for a Director of Network Operations. The position includes training for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversees day-to-day operations and distribution of over 250+ network programs
• Manages staffing and scheduling of Network Operations Center personnel
• Programs satellite transmission channels using automation systems
• Manages sales, billing, and distribution of client satellite programming
• Collaborates with internal and external staffs on new programming initiatives
• Communicates with clients and internal staff regarding technical changes or issues
• Trains 24x7 Network Operations staff to maintain broadcast coherency
• Documents and facilitates procedures and resources for technical staff
• Participates in 24x7 On-Call rotation
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Strong background with Radio automation platforms such as IMAGINE, NETIA, OPX, NEXGEN
• Knowledge of satellite distribution platforms including XDS and Wegener
• Operational understanding of complex audio routing systems; SAS (Sierra) or AXIA
• Experience with network scheduling systems such as Counterpoint
• Demonstrated success in a leadership / training role
• Knowledge of network radio commercial scheduling, execution and reconciliation
• Foundation in networking knowledge/understanding with ability to troubleshoot effectively
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal communication skills; verbal and written
• Able to work and resolve problems independently with little supervision
• Minimum 7+ years in broadcast-related field
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
