We are looking to hire an experienced enterprise SaaS channel partnerships/sales leader to lead our North America team. This team is responsible for bringing the WhatsApp business messaging API to market in North America and this role will be part of the Global Partnerships Business Messaging leadership team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience leading channel sales or partnerships teams with a proven track record of delivering against goals/quota. This person will be responsible for defining the strategy for North America and working with his/her team to hunt and then farm the right set of channel partners. The team is growing and one of your first responsibilities will be recruiting 3 or more direct reports in the first 6 months.. Candidates should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-functionally to build consensus. We are looking for candidates that are creative, aggressive and looking to expand and advance their regional partners as measured by the impact on client and business messaging volume growth in North America.

<ul><li>Ability to forecast channel revenue accurately leveraging CRM skills</li><li>Bring and use your rolodex of partners and their key executives and sales leaders</li><li>Provide world-class relationship development and thought leadership across an assigned partner base to increase revenue and drive incremental business opportunities</li><li>Work with WhatsApp Leadership, Regional Partnerships, and Marketing teams to identify key partners, build a strategic plan, and partner enablement model</li><li>While leading the North America region, this role is part of a global team and thinking as a global leader is required. Collaboration with global cross functional partners is critical to success</li><li>With the WhatsApp partners, define tailored value propositions and create detailed go-to-market plans that strengthen our value proposition to the marketplace while providing new revenue opportunities with our partners</li></ul>

<ul><li>10+ years experience of tech channel partnerships/sales in enterprise SaaS successfully implementing channel strategy to drive dramatically increased sales</li><li>Proven business leader with experience driving influence and build relationships with decision makers across all levels of partner and prospect organizations</li><li>Highly effective relationship/partner development skills</li><li>Experience formulating a partnership vision, strategy, and execution plan</li><li>Track record of driving enterprise sales via channel partners (partner handles selling motion)</li><li>Proven experience of exceeding channels sales or direct sales quotas</li><li>Proven analytical skills to determine which programs work and insight to build on that experience</li></ul>
