Summary:
The Human Resources Director provides expertise and leadership in support of overall organizational effectiveness, change initiatives, strategic plan development and execution, and organizational structure. Serves as an internal consultant, leader, and business partner, providing guidance in the areas of leadership, change management, employee relations, compensation, talent management, employee engagement, and diversity/inclusion. Collaborates closely with Centers of Expertise as needed to support the facility and/or section of Memorial Healthcare System.
Detailed responsibilities:
• Directs and evaluates departmental operations, in order to integrate information technologies with HR business processes, become a strategic business partner, and ensure a high level of customer service , to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
• Plans and monitors HR staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives.
• Prepares, monitors, and evaluates the departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
• Partners with leaders to ensure a high level of employee satisfaction, monitor and understand turnover, investigate and resolve employee issues along with other strategic priorities.
• Develops and implements departmental goals, plans and standards consistent with the administrative, legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.

Required Work Experience: 5 years progressive leadership responsibility in Human Resources.
