Benchmark Human Services is seeking individuals to work in the homes of people with disabilities and behavioral health needs in the Indianapolis area. Except challenges, but even greater self fulfillment when you've made a positive change in another person's life. Experience isn't required, and you will receive paid training.

Responsibilities:

• Participate proactively, for each individual, as part of an interdisciplinary team in the development and implementation of individual plans to achieve identified outcomes.
• Ensure the individual's health and safety at home and in the community.
• Assist the individual served with daily living skills, including but not limited to individual care, community safety, social skills, and household tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, etc.
• Provide communication to supervisors regarding individuals served, about their home, day program or work related needs, as applicable to each individual.
• Administer medications and follow physician's orders concerning medications and treatments.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals served.
• Safely transport individuals according to their behavioral and physical needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalency.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
