Purpose of the role:
Serve as subject matter expert on all Elsevier Education Technology products, including cloud-based and mobile solutions.
Deliver high-impact sales presentations to decision makers who range from faculty to c-suite level executives concerning Elsevier Technology, commanding the presence of the room; specialize in negotiations and closing.
Mentor and spearhead strategy for 3-4 territories of field sales representatives in the Eastern US, serving as Sales Strategist.
Assist in the training/implementation process for important technology dependent adoptions
This is a home-based opportunity reporting to the Manager, Technology Sales & Outcomes. This position requires up to 30-40% overnight travel (post Covid) during peak selling times.
Territory
Ideal candidates will reside in the Central or Eastern Standard Time Zone and will call on accounts in the eastern half of the US. Candidates must live within 30 minutes or less drive-time to a large airport.
