One of our design agency clients is looking for a great Digital Project Manager to help manage all things digital, with the main focus being on websites.

Please note: This is primarily a remote position, but you must live within the region (client is based in Boston) to attend mandatory team gatherings 8 times per year that last for about 2-3 days each. The client is open to situations if you live outside of the Boston area, but they will not cover expenses for those 8 meetings.

Digital Project Manager Responsibilities:


Translate specific website design and development objectives and expectations into clear and actionable project plans and resource assignments.
Coordinate all aspects of website projects to ensure timely delivery, on plan, and budget.
Align and regularly check in with cross-functional team members about progress to help remove obstacles and provide support resources that may be necessary.
Schedule & facilitate handoff meetings between project phases to ensure efficient and effective transitions.
Maintain regular and productive communications with all relevant client stakeholders, conduct regular client meetings, and ensure they are always well informed.
Help establish priorities and resolve resource constraint issues.
Manage project scope and, if necessary, identify solutions for any changes and ensure internal and external agreement and alignment with new schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
Uphold digital standards and best practices and continually seek opportunities for improvement.
Draft website technical specifications and coordinate with development and client teams
Conduct and manage website quality assurance testing.
Prepare and deliver training for client website administrators.


 

 

Digital Project Manager Requirements:


Must have 3+ years of direct experience in digital project management, ideally with a focus on web.
Must live within the region (Boston) to be able to attend the 8 mandatory agency meetings as noted at the top of the job description.
Must have experience with project managing digital needs for website development, including a baseline understanding of best practices in UX, visual design, development, quality assurance, and code reviews.
Must have a practical understanding of project management best practices.
Must be able to distill and simplify complex technical objectives and requests.
Must be able to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously.
Must be comfortable with ambiguity and able to operate under tight deadlines.
Must have the ability to understand technical challenges, limitations and communicate, translate effectively between client, development, and creative teams. 
Ability to conduct in-depth quality assurance on creative materials and technology functionality.
