What we’re looking for:

The Intuitive Brand and Creative team is hiring a Digital Asset Manager to support the launch of a new digital asset management platform. You’ll be instrumental in scaling the discovery, distribution, and use of brand assets across its worldwide marketing teams and agency partners.

The ideal candidate will lead the expansion of our digital asset management library and implement processes to maintain the integrity of our asset library including taxonomy, metadata, file naming, keywords, data analysis, graphic standards, and future integrations with other business systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

As a Digital Asset Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, oversight and maintenance of the Intuitive Brand Portal (DAM). Reporting to the Group Manager, Content Production, you will lead the evolution of the digital asset management capabilities by standardizing processes to streamline operations, optimizing user workflows, and governance. You’ll also serve as the acting librarian for taxonomy, metadata standards, and maintaining best practices for the digital asset management system.

In this role you must be an excellent written and oral communicator, with great interpersonal skills. Your ability to build trusting relationships within a diverse team of creators and consumers across the business and in different regions is paramount. You are passionate about creating order from disorder; understand the appropriate amount of process to apply to different projects, and demonstrate a commitment to going above and beyond to enable the organization to operate effectively. Creating content within a regulated industry, your ability to understand the variety of regulatory and governance requirements surrounding assets, work instructions, and applying strict adherence to process is critical to protecting the interests of the business as we grow.

Working with team members across the Brand and Creative group, you will need to understand and be familiar working with a variety of assets ranging from photography, illustration, iconography, video, and sound files used for print, digital, and experiential purposes.  As a team member, you exhibit an extreme attention to detail, possess strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate and work effectively with global business partners. Specifically, you’ll be involved in:

  • Publishing : Moving completed assets from our project management tool to advertising and promotional assets in accordance with governance guidelines. Ensuring that new content is being named correctly and is tagged correctly.
  • Entering and maintaining metadata : Auditing folders and content on a daily basis. Correcting misnamed, mis-tagged/untagged content and providing guidance for users regarding metadata. Verifying user compliance.
  • Normalize and monitor content quality, usage, and rights
  • Migrating / Archiving : Responsible for any migration efforts of legacy content or new business unit content. Also, in charge of exporting and archiving content according to business rules.
  • Training, adoption and gathering user feedback : Front-line support for advertising and promotional assets users by promoting, training and supporting the users of the system, as well as ongoing training to keep up-to-date on system functionality.
  • Reporting : Provide standard reporting on AEM Assets and work to create more in-depth reporting as requested.
  • Determining and implementing best practices: Provide ongoing optimization recommendations, system improvements and ongoing process changes; always be on the lookout for more efficient strategies, SLAs and communication opportunities.
  • Managing routine system performance analysis and annual system performance auditing: Looking at key areas like search performance and user experience (UX). Take user feedback into account to continuously improve system performance for the team and implement changes.
  • Working with outside stakeholders: Agencies, partners, the media, consultants — all of these stakeholders may need access to our digital assets, and develop a plan to ensure brand consistency is met.
  • Working with development/IT stakeholders: The Digital Asset Manager will act as project manager for any development efforts between external development agencies, Adobe Web Services and internal teams as needed.
  • Assist in assigning roles and permissions: Coordinating user permissions and access management.
  • Document bugs and feature improvements and communicate effectively to technology resources.
  • Stay current on emerging trends in the DAM space.
  • Basic Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere skills to prep files for the asset bank: light retouching, resolution QC, cropping, comping, transcoding, and exporting

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of digital asset management experience in a corporate environment—ideally within the context of marketing or creative operations workflow
  • Experience identifying and implementing digital asset management efficiencies within business units
  • Ability to document process used to standardized inputs, optimize workflows and maximize efficiency and data integrity
  • Experience establishing and sustaining digital asset taxonomy and metadata standards
  • Experience with using Adobe Creative Cloud applications including but not limited to Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator, and Premiere to check quality and conduct light asset manipulation prior to upload
