The Digital Asset Management Coordinator's primary role will be to facilitate the daily organization and maintenance of digital assets in YETI's Digital Asset Management system (DAM). We are seeking a highly detail-oriented person with a creative mindset and solid time management skills who will create, manage and maintain robust metadata and usage rights for images and video content within the DAM. Ultimately, this person is interested in providing an efficient and highly usable environment for our assets, while being a resource and guide for those who need access to them. This role will work closely with various teams within the Marketing Department (Project Managers, Social, Designers, Media & Content Producers) as well as our eCommerce, Retail & Wholesale teams to ensure easy access to assets in the DAM system.

Responsibilities:

  • Ingest a wide variety of digital assets from a diverse field of internal sources
  • Ensure that assets comply with standards for file naming, file formats, and quality
  • Apply metadata standards to catalog digital assets stored in the DAM
  • Work with a diverse set of teams to ensure timely availability of high-quality digital assets
  • Curate galleries of images when requested
  • Stay abreast of developing standards, practices and tools in the field of digital asset and content management
  • Collaborate with internal Content team to ensure all final content is uploaded and tagged correctly
  • Consistently operate in a meticulously organized and up-to-date digital asset management tool
  • Identify unique ways to organize and manage the entire digital asset life cycle from creation to distribution, production, and archiving
  • Assist in tagging our expansive library of product and lifestyle images with relevant and accurate metadata/keywords
  • Provide company-wide assistance to locate assets
  • Assist in evolving the system's taxonomy to accommodate new products and use cases
  • Work alongside Marketing Ops team on DAM-related projects and initiatives
  • Assist with rights management as needed

Qualifications and Attributes:
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • At least 2 years of experience in digital asset management
  • Self-motivated with outstanding organizational skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Visually literate, methodical and meticulous with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to act with a sense of urgency
  • Experienced in the application of metadata standards, controlled vocabularies and cataloging rules
  • Familiarity with DAM systems, such as Bynder, Widen, Adobe Experience, Cloudinary a plus, and a generally high level of technology literacy on both the Windows and Macintosh platforms
  • Familiarity with outdoor pursuits a plus
  • Position is located in Austin, TX at our headquarters on Southwest Parkway. This is a hybrid role and will require 3 days on site each week
