Job Description
DEVOPS ENGINEER
One of the Select Group's clients is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 1 of the following 2 skill sets outlined in the requirements. This is a remote role, but preference is for candidates local to either San Diego, Austin or New York. We are unable to offer sponsorship or work corp-to-corp.

DEVOPS ENGINEER REQUIREMENTS:

• Profile 1
  • Strong background in SRE/DevOps
  • Python programming (writing Python code from scratch, experience writing Python API's)
  • Pulumi (Infra as Code, Hybrid Cloud - Terraform also acceptable)
• Profile 2
  • Strong background in SRE/DevOps
  • Python programming (writing Python code from scratch, experience writing Python API's)
  • In depth knowledge of Cloud Technologies: AWS (Infrastructure Services i.e., EC2), Docker (being able to write docker files, run containers, run images - also open to comparable technologies), Kubernetes (cloud computing i.e., AWS EKS)

DEVOPS ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for building and maintaining internal team's software development tools with Python
• Responsible for API Development
• Write automation code to provision and teardown in these stacks (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Build CI/CD pipelines
