5+ years with:
- Kubernetes
- Jenkins/Gitlab or something similar for CI/CD

Hardware/Network Engineering skills:
- DNS, Router management, Intrusion Detection
- One of the following: CARP, Nginx, Wireguard, HAProxy, OPNsense*

Based out of Livermore, CA, we are an innovative tech company that is making huge strides within the education industry. Our company is helping teachers and professors be able to interact and grade student assignments/quizzes/tests much faster. Due to recent growth and need for our services, we are looking to add on a DevOps Engineer. This person must be skilled with MongoDB, Kubernetes, Network engineering, and Jenkins/Gitlab.

What You Will Be Doing Building, operating, monitoring, and evolving Kubernetes-based deployments.
What You Need for this Position 5+ years with:
- Kubernetes
- Jenkins/Gitlab or something similar for CI/CD

Hardware/Network Engineering skills:
- DNS, Router management, Intrusion Detection
- One of the following: CARP, Nginx, Wireguard, HAProxy, OPNsense

Nice to have:
- MongoDB
- Ansible for maintenance tasks
- NewRelic, Pingdom, and PagerDuty for monitoring and alerting solutions

Other things on our radar
- GitOps
- Kubernetes-provided Function as a Service and Database as a Service.
- Help us identify and mitigate additional infrastructure problems or scaling requirements using strategies such as the operators pattern.
- Recommend options for operating our MongoDB databases using Kubernetes.
