Position Title: Desktop Support Technician
Company Name: Top utility company in MN

Location: onsite fully with travel expected

• Location: onsite fully with travel expected
• Minneapolis, MN Location - Nicollet
• Will need to pay to park (built into pay)
• Travel: around the Minneapolis area, around a 30-minute radius of the city. Most of the time they will be at the Nicollet site imaging devices
• • Will not be expected to use personal vehicle for travel
  • During the contract, expected to shadow current employees on site visits
  • Contractors are not eligible for OT unless pre approved for special project
  • Rare overnight travel (CNP FTE employee would be with contractor) - covered by CNP

Must Have Skills:

• 3-4 years of experience providing end to end desktop support to internal customers
• Windows 10 experience
• Microsoft Office 365 experience
• Experience troubleshooting and setting up iPhone devices
• Basic computer hardware experience
• Able to pass DMV background check (if converted, this contractor will be driving company vehicle)

Soft Skills:

• Ability to work independently with little management oversight
• Ability to communicate with internal customers in field and office setting

Nice to have Skills:

• Windows 11 experience (currently moving from Windows 10 to 11)
• ServiceNow ticketing experience - BIG PLUS
• A+ certification
• Experience working in the field and supporting field laptops (currently using Panasonic cf33)

Education/certification requirements:

• N/A

Day to Day responsibilities:

• Support end users with network outages, account lockouts, password resets, login access issues, etc.
• Troubleshoot applications where needed
• Computer refreshes - receive equipment , prep and deploy
• Transfer data to and from devices
• Support and set up new iPhone devices for end users
• Work within ServiceNow to open and close tickets
• Set up printers and troubleshoot printers when needed
• Support business/end users in the field with their field laptops - service technicians, construction crews, etc.
