This is a critical leadership role in the facility. As the primary onsite leader for the entire shift this position will require strategic thinking, problem solving skills and making significant decisions on what the shift does on a daily basis.
The operations manager will lead a group of department managers, assistant department managers and hourly associates to ensure all operational targets are met while continually adjusting and adapting to the changing job priorities. Balancing workloads between all warehouse departments is necessary in maximizing workflow. In order to meet customer commitments and deadlines establishing shift and department goals are important.
In this position the operations manager must support our core values and foster a positive culture of growth and development of all employees. The ability to work with a diversified workforce and maintain constant open communication on all policies and procedures is essential.
