Role: Database Marketing Manager

Position Type: Direct Hire, Full Time

Location: Grand Ronde, OR

Annual Salary: $95-110K

Summary: Responsible for planning and executing all aspects of database marketing projects, including establishing KPIs, managing budgets, overseeing direct mail, utilizing data-driven models for decision-making, supporting marketing initiatives within the database, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating with the marketing team.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain, develop, and analyze marketing databases.
  • Set short and long-term goals for Database Marketing in collaboration with the team.
  • Monitor relevant data to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Develop budgets and forecasts for direct mail efforts, preparing monthly variance reports.
  • Analyze customer data to create targeted marketing plans.
  • Manage marketing program budgets and evaluate reinvestment strategies.
  • Oversee direct mail processes and ensure alignment with brand messaging.
  • Create complex queries for direct marketing campaigns and oversee delivery of promotions.
  • Provide ad hoc reports and marketing support for other departments.
  • Maintain database hygiene and coordinate with external agencies and vendors.

Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Proficiency in research, numerical analysis, and marketing strategies.
  • Advanced knowledge of relational database query tools.
  • Ability to independently manage projects, analyze data, and communicate results effectively.
  • Strong time management, accuracy, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and build effective relationships.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field and five years of database analyst experience.
  • Experience coordinating with external agencies and vendors.
