Position Summary

ITT's Cannon and Veam brands are world leaders in the design and manufacture of highly engineered harsh-environment connector and interconnect solutions. We operate on a global basis serving customers in the aerospace and defense, medical, transportation and industrial end markets.

Interested in data management with a marketing twist? ITT Cannon's Marketing team is looking for a self-starter to support critical digitalization growth objectives. The Data Specialist will be a key interface between product management, marketing, engineering, and ITT's Corporate web development team to build out systematic data logics for product series specifications - millions of configured variants, competitive cross references tools, logic-based 2D and 3D models, and suggestive selling.

This position will gain valuable experience when interfacing and integrating content with ITT Cannon's CMS, Digital Asset Management Systems (Canto), pricing configurator (product information management system- PIM) and back-office systems that manage models and system content.

This dedicated resource will provide the organization with tremendous growth opportunities from all levels of the customer journey.
Essential Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain product series configurator, which generates robust part number specifications and data sheets
  • Development of cross reference data logics to support our direct/in-direct sales team, Search Engine Marketing and Point of Sales conversations
  • Work closely with internal and 3rd party suppliers to create logic based 2D and 3D product models.
  • Interface with large data master sets, product information management systems and digital asset management systems
  • Coordinates cross functional support required from Marketing, IT, Product Management and Engineering
  • Performs other marketing and data related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in Data Analytics & Reporting
  • Advanced skills in manipulate large data sets through standard analytics software packages and applications; primarily Microsoft Excel (MS Excel)
  • Experience with configurator solutions a plus
  • Analytic, structured, and precise way of working
  • General understanding of software solutions, IT Systems, and some coding
  • Strong written English and German (German is not required if in the US)
  • Comfortable interfacing with various departments (PM, engineering, marketing, etc.)
  • Self-driven individual, able to work with minimal direction to consistently look for opportunities
  • Flexible work hours to interface with all regions - APAC, US and Europe
  • Ability to lead and problem solve in unstructured environments
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required, under 10% estimated -

Location: In proximity to Irvine, California USA or Weinstadt, Germany

Equal Pay Act Range
Annual Salary Range is $88,200 to $132,000, plus benefits and incentive plans.
