Baer is looking for Data Scientist Engineer for a 12+ month remote project.

Title: Data Scientist Engineer
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 12 months
Rate: All-inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C

Due to the nature of the job candidate must be a US Citizen or Permanent resident.

Description:

• Lead and execute data engineering projects across various industries, focusing on either Data Visualization, Data Warehousing, or Data Science.
• Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries and relational database systems to support data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Mentor junior data engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices in data engineering and analytics.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data projects.

Requirements:

• 8 years of professional experience with demonstrated expertise in SQL and relational databases.
• Strong proficiency in one of the three focus areas: Data Visualization, Data Warehousing, or Data Science.
• Candidate must have good experience on Data Science project working AI / Machine learning models, ADA, Feature engineering, Model pipeline using Databricks, Dataiku etc. or equivalent.
• Experience with data warehousing technologies such as Informatica, Snowflake, or Databricks.
