What You'll Do

As a Governance Architect at Slalom, you'll work in various data projects covering different data domains such as data modelling and warehousing, data integration and migration, data quality, and data governance. These projects will primarily involve cloud solutions but may also involve source systems on-premise. In this role, you will work closely with Slalom's clients to provide data expertise with data migration and integration around leading governance platforms such as Collibra, Alation and Informatica.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Manage and lead assessment, discovery, and project deliveries across all data domains and industries - including health care, life sciences, retail, and financial services
  • Lead and participate in business development and pre-sales activities to craft the right data management solutions for our clients
  • Act as a domain expert in platform governance, migration and integration and continue to drive this capability across the Boston market
What You'll Bring
  • 3+ years of experience in developing solutions in modern governance tools such as Collibra, Alation and/or Informatica and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and GCP
  • Solid understanding of data management disciplines, including data quality and master/reference data management
  • Experience managing and delivering data migration and integration projects
  • Previous consulting or client management experience is preferable, but not a requirement
  • A strong sense of curiosity to solving complex and business-critical solutions for a diverse background of clients in the Boston market and beyond
