POSITION OVERVIEW

Provide individual therapy and group therapy to persons in recovery (PIR) receiving MMT, MAT, and non-MAT services. Maintain a caseload ensuring PIRs are getting the services needed to support sobriety and recovery. Strong clinical skills with ability to provided individua therapist and facilitate group therapy. Ability to assess clients and refer them to services based on need. Manage a caseload of up to 25 clients completing required documentation timely. Establish rapport and maintain professional boundaries. Ability to engage and re-engage clients in services. Demonstration of core clinical competencies such as, but not limited to: attending, active and reflective listening, use of open-ended questioning, focusing, building rapport, congruency, summarization, managing silence, empathy, rolling with resistance, supporting self-efficacy, managing confrontation, and developing discrepancy. Effective and timely communication with colleagues regarding client care.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor''s Degree or higher in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, psychology, addictions studies, social work or related field with specialty or concentration in counseling required,

• Have a CADC credential through PCB or be actively working toward certification.



•Certification will need to be achieved within two to three (2 - 3) years of hire



• One (1) year of counseling experience (a minimum of 1,820 hours) in a health or human service agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting, required

• If experience is not in a drug and alcohol setting, the individuals' written training plan shall specifically address a plan to achieve counseling competency in chemical dependency issues.
