We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Customer Support Representative I to join our team and help provide our customers with an elite service experience . In this position, you will be responsible for supporting Nordson EFD's customers and field sales personnel to maximize the sale of EFD products and maintain best in class reputation through quality and accurate order processing.

How YOU will make an impact:

  • Create and update standard sales orders and quotations in SAP received via fax, email from external and internal customers in a timely manner according to established goals of the Supervisor
  • Maintains a professional demeanor in all communications with internal and external customers
  • Answers inquiries regarding order status, availability and pricing from sales reps and customers
  • Completes thorough and accurate electronic order processing and ensures customer data is maintained
  • Ensures prompt retrieval of website orders
  • Answers operator calls, as necessary
  • Determines best methods to resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction, while adhering to organizational policies and work procedures
  • Understands when export compliance documents are required for shipment clearance and initiates communication with parties involved
  • Provides order management support to escalate customer resolution
  • Coordinates problem resolution with team members and other departments, as necessary
  • Able to adapt effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Base performance standards against established metrics to drive performance improvements


Qualifications to be successful:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in an office environment, customer service related role
  • Proficiency in all MS Office applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer service, action-oriented mindset
  • Technical aptitude
  • Good time management & organizational skills
  • Relevant experience in related business environment
  • Exceptional teamwork, interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Self motivated
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Accuracy is a must
  • SAP experience is preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
