DNV - Global Shared Services - Human Resources team is seeking a Corporate Recruiter to join our world-class Recruitment North America Team. We deliver high-quality talent acquisition results to all DNV business areas across the region. This position requires exceptional professionalism, integrity, industry knowledge, collaboration, and results-orientation. Working alongside team members in our Katy, Texas U.S. Headquarters, the Corporate Recruiter will be interacting heavily with professionals throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

What You'll Do

  • Contribute to the continued growth and success of DNV GL by working to secure new team members who reflect the values of DNV and deliver high-quality results to our clients
  • Process a high volume of applicants and facilitate a high volume of hires across a wide spectrum of functional roles and geographic locations within North America
  • Pro-actively source junior, mid, and senior-level technical and business professionals up to and including Senior Director-level candidates using internet-based tools and "good old-fashioned interpersonal networking tools" including the telephone and the handshake; build talent pipelines and develop networks to better position the company and you for quicker time to fill
  • Screen and qualify applicants on a time-sensitive basis
  • In conjunction with support staff, schedule interviews, facilitate the interview evaluation process, and help the Business Teams come to the point of decision on candidates
  • Facilitate the use and interpretation of various pre-hire assessment tools including skills assessments and psychometric tests
  • Extend offers, negotiate, and close candidates for positions across the region
  • Assist managers with resource planning, needs analysis, job description development, and interview approach
  • Post jobs and manage applicant flow across a number of concurrent recruiting priorities
  • Maintain accurate records within our Applicant Tracking System
  • Meet or exceed corporate KPIs for Recruiting, including time to hire, cost per hire, and quality of hire
  • Challenge the team, contribute to the development of our processes and our people, help us to grow, to improve upon, and to expand our systems and our positive impact on our organization
  • Deliver training related to recruitment (processes, best practices, interviewing & selection, market conditions) to customers as business requires
  • Develop and maintain relationships within target markets; become recognized as a talent knowledge expert in related markets and networks
  • Maintain knowledge and awareness of current recruitment and hiring-related trends in industry, government, and technology
  • Support Recruitment and other HR colleagues; collaborate, share, back up, and communicate with teammates on a continual basis
  • Build relationships and trust with hiring managers so that you may add value to the hiring process beyond the typical "recruiting flow"- be a business partner, a strategic partner, to hiring teams, help them explore ideas and consider alternate perspectives when helpful
  • Develop and maintain relationships with strategic vendors; manage / oversee delivery of recruitment-related services
Position Qualifications

What is Required

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a full-lifecycle recruiter
  • Demonstrable experience recruiting senior-level professionals, including technical and non-technical staff
  • Experience recruiting for diverse locations and geographies within the U.S. required
  • Experience recruiting in OFCCP- and EEOC-subject environments preferred
  • Experience hiring/ placing client-facing technical consultants and business development professionals with successful mid to large service provider firms preferred
  • Recruiting experience in one or more of the following industries is preferred:
    • Energy/ Utilities; Technical Consulting Services; Engineering; Oil & Gas; Maritime; Business certification
  • Demonstrable experience with applicant tracking systems; iCIMS or Taleo experience helpful but not required
  • A drive to connect over the phone with a high volume of applicants
  • Experience with handling populations greater than 500 preferred
  • Previous work experience in Shared Services environment will be preferred
  • Broad based knowledge of HR functional areas is preferred
  • Exceptional Customer Service skills required
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations/training to a large group of customers is a plus
  • Must be computer literate with strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite of applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong internet-based sourcing abilities; adept at using LinkedIn and other related digital avenues
  • Exemplary ethics and dedication to professionalism and quality
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Verbal and written Spanish communication skills strongly preferred
  • Must be able to handle confidential material and comply with privacy concerns and regulations
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel on occasion, both domestically and internationally (up to approximately 10% of the time)
  • Physical requirements:
    • Must be able to work at a desk or workstation, sitting or standing up to 95% of the time
    • Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office, to access file cabinets, conference rooms etc.
    • Must be able to use a computer, with or without reasonable accommodations up to 95% of the time
