Core Java - Intermediate
BCforward is currently seeking highly motivated Core Java-Intermediate in the Plano, TX /Columbus, OH!
Role: ETL Developer with Data warehouse
Location: Plano, TX/ Columbus, OH
Expected Contract: 6months CTH
Hybrid: 3 days onsite 2 days remote a week

Job Description:

• Strong Data Warehousing experience w/ Limited Java
• ETL focus w/ Data Warehousing exp rather than Java Coders
• Doesn't need to write code from scratch.
• Just needs enough Java knowledge for troubleshooting

Skills (required):

• Strong with Database background (top 1 skill looking for)
• Oracle DB or SQL DB knowledge (Needs to have at least 1)
• Working within the databases
• ETL Shop experience (Abinitio and/or Informatica) (2nd top skill)
• Java (backend data processing) (3rd top skill)
• 5-10 years of experience

Skills (Nice to have)

• Spark

R&R/Project:

• Manage Big Data Platform
• Migration to cloud
• Modernizing legacy code
