Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial intake interviews with clients to gather information about their legal needs and concerns.
• Collect and record relevant details about clients' cases, including personal information, legal issues, and timelines.
• Explain legal processes, procedures, and options to clients in a clear and empathetic manner.
• Assist clients in completing necessary forms and paperwork for their cases.
• Coordinate appointments and consultations with attorneys for clients.
• Follow up with clients to provide updates on their cases and address any questions or concerns.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in electronic databases or case management systems.
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
• Assist in organizing and preparing documents, evidence, and exhibits for legal proceedings.
• Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations relevant to clients' cases.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in pre-law, legal studies, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in a legal office or similar role is advantageous.
• Knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and concepts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on active listening and empathy.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting client information.
• Proficiency in using office software and databases.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing legal requirements and procedures.
• Commitment to providing high-quality service to clients and supporting the mission of the law firm.
