Job Description

Turner & Townsend is seeking the ideal Program Manager to help our key client achieve their program aspirations for driving efficiency and innovation within large-scale real estate construction projects. You will work within a team of professional business consultants with a focus on service excellence and stakeholder management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing consulting and support services at the program-level to the Delivery Strategy and Business Processes team. Responsibilities include support in the development of Delivery Strategy and Business Processes definition and implementation across functional RACI, business signal development/implementation, project intake assessments, E2E process flow mapping, planning risk and change implementation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Formulate business processes that would help the program team improve project delivery.
  • Interface with key client stakeholders, including business unit leaders and corporate real estate leaders.
  • Oversee quality control of project delivery and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure proper implementation.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate high level risks across all projects.
  • Implement sourcing and procurement strategies that add value.
  • Develop initial project charters including high level schedules and budgets.
  • Drive consistency in project delivery and client experience.
  • Oversee project delivery and provide routine executive-level reporting to key stakeholders. based on program governance criteria, metrics and KPIs.
  • Develop program improvement initiatives and asks.

Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge in commercial project management processes, methodologies, applications, and best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in construction management, engineering, architecture, project management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of commercial construction project management experience on major projects or programs.
  • Proven record of successfully implementing processes and procedures on major projects or programs.
  • Experienced in managing capital and tenant improvement projects and coordination of diverse, concurrent activities; capable of defining project implementation strategies, and articulating that plan to consultants, contractors, and project team members to identify and attain objectives.
  • Proficiency in reporting systems and tools
  • Excellent communicator with various stakeholders including high-level management.
  • Fluency in sustainable construction practices.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to supervise team members.
  • Multitasking and time management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be able to work in a team environment or independently.
  • Be able to bring innovation to existing processes and procedures.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to visually present data.
  • A good understanding of standard forms of contract.

Desirable:
  • Master's degree in construction management, engineering, project management, or a related technical field.
  • Accreditation by AACE, PMI, or similar associations.
