General Description of Position:

Performs necessary tasks to ensure the timely and correct burial of communication cables. Uses contract labor, by distributing work orders, receiving managing, and communicating the completed work. Must be able multitask, using different mapping and data systems. Verifies contractor invoices, codes, and reviews in accounting system

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Works with Hargray personnel, and contractors; ensuring that all aspects of the job tasks are completed properly and in a timely manner.
• Receives work orders for service drop bury requests through Data system and initiates the work order process through the department.
• Communicates work order information to contractors through ticketing email.
• Monitors ticketing email box for contractor notification of work completions.
• Processes these completions when received by noting work orders and routing or closing as needed.
• Communicate with Hargray personnel and contractors on scheduling issues or changes.
• Receives and compares contractor invoicing to completed work, codes, and submits to supervisor for approval.
• Orders materials from Hargray distribution center needed for contractors to perform the drop burials
• Works with finance with invoicing, tracking work and materials
• Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure effective operation of department.
